Last night, Afghan security forces conducted three operations against Khawarij hideouts in Mazqa-e-Sharif, Balkh province.
As per the source the operations were carried out in 5th, 8th and 10th districts of Mazar-e-Sharif city, the khowarij which has been killed in the operations are from Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
According to the information the 1st hideout were targeted last night around 12 o’clock in the 5th, in which 3 member of ISKP got killed, some weapons and ammunition were seized by Afghan forces, the 2nd hideout were targeted around 1 o’clock in Islamabad area of 10th district in which 1 khowarij got killed, some weapons were also being discovered from the area and the 3rd hideout were targeted at the same time in Dasht Shore area of 8th district, in which 1 Daesh member got killed and three different type of weapons were also seized.
According the a reliable source a high ranking member ISKP, Ustad Qais has been killed in last night operations, his full identity has not been revealed yet.
In last few months the Afghan forces has increased their attacks against ISKP, in which key member of their leadership, like, Ijaz Amin and Qari Fateh were eliminated. According to reports, mistrust and chaos has got increased between ISKP leadership.
